The weekend just before the Anniversary day is packed full of historical and fun things to do. Family friendly re-enactments and displays of heritage animals plus exhibitions in village halls, chapel and museum. And for those who want a bit more sitting down there are talks given by eminent academics in our historical conference or a play in the evenings.

And as everything runs across Saturday and Sunday you do not need to choose but could do everything. Make a weekend of it!
